In this role, you will contribute to internal platforms, primitives, and guardrails that assist employees with reliable AI solutions. You will work extensively on systems like Archimedes, Bosun, and easyRAG, which power internal assistants, developer workflows, and retrieval-backed applications.
This position is ideal for a developer with an emerging platform mindset who enjoys building reusable capabilities and collaborating across multidisciplinary groups. You will help establish golden paths for artificial intelligence usage, ensuring that teams can scale large language model tools safely, efficiently, and with proper governance. Responsibilities include building scalable APIs, software development kits, templates, and shared services while working alongside senior engineers to prototype and productionize new tools.

Responsibilities
- Contribute to and extend internal artificial intelligence platforms like Archimedes, Bosun, and easyRAG
- Build reusable platform capabilities such as application programming interfaces, software development kits, templates, and shared services
- Prototype and productionize new capabilities alongside senior engineers
- Apply golden path patterns for large language model usage and help refine them over time
- Develop features that allow teams to launch assistants and workflows in a standardized, observable, and governed way
- Learn and apply evaluation, observability, and cost-management practices covering quality, latency, safety, and spend
- Partner with Security, Risk, and Legal teams to implement guardrails for responsible usage
- Collaborate with engineers across the company to embed artificial intelligence into internal tools and employee experiences
Requirements
- Experience as a software engineer with a track record of shipping production-quality features in a distributed system or platform environment
- Hands-on experience working with large language models or machine learning services, or strong curiosity and an ability to ramp quickly into specialized tooling
- Coding proficiency in at least one of Python, Go, or TypeScript/JavaScript
- Comfort working across services, command line interfaces, and internal tooling
- Platform mindset focused on reuse and building for multiple consumers
- Clear written and verbal communication skills to explain technical tradeoffs to teammates and cross-functional partners
Qualifications
- Familiarity with artificial intelligence-specific engineering concerns such as evaluation, prompt and version management, observability, cost control, safety, and data privacy
