Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product and engineering leaders to establish a cross-functional vision for Trust and Safety
- Design and evolve software capabilities, APIs, and high-performance backend infrastructure
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks within software development processes and underlying systems
- Write clean code and guide engineering peers in developing scalable architectures
- Act as a project Team Lead when necessary
- Ensure technical execution meets standards for quality, performance, scalability, availability, and security
- Participate in organization-wide technology discovery, vetting, and architectural decision-making
Requirements
- Minimum of 12 years of software engineering experience
- Demonstrated history of building and evolving high-scale backend solutions
- Experience designing distributed systems and scalable, extensible platforms with high availability
- Background in leading and empowering multiple engineering teams
