Responsibilities
- Build and maintain internal frameworks, developer tooling, and infrastructure
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to enhance app quality, performance, and observability
- Identify operational bottlenecks and automate mobile CI/CD and release orchestration
- Design tooling to reduce developer friction and maximize engineering velocity
- Mentor engineers and elevate technical standards through design reviews and guidance
- Partner with quality assurance to oversee the mobile release process across iOS and Android
- Build and scale infrastructure supporting AI-enabling app development
Requirements
- Five or more years of experience in cross-platform mobile development with React Native
- Strong fluency in TypeScript with familiarity in React and React Native
- Experience managing iOS and Android build, configuration, and distribution systems
- History of shipping applications utilized by millions of users
- Demonstrated track record of profiling and improving mobile application performance
- Familiarity with observability and analytics tools such as Sentry, Bugsnag, Datadog, or Hex
- Deep understanding of client-server architecture utilizing GraphQL and performance optimization
- Experience with mobile build infrastructure platforms like GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or Bitrise
Qualifications
- Experience with feature flag systems, runtime controls, or over-the-air delivery frameworks such as CodePush and Expo Updates
- Experience building infrastructure that supports AI-native mobile development
- Familiarity with state management tools including Redux, React Context, AsyncStorage, or MMKV
- Experience scaling mobile quality practices and testing frameworks
