This position reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and handles tax matters across multiple international corporate entities.
This role is designed for a strategic and forward-thinking tax professional who is interested in applying modern technology and automation to global tax strategy. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills and a solid academic background, preferring intellectual agility over a fixed number of years in the field. While there is a preference for candidates located in EMEA time zones, the position can be performed remotely within that region or from an office in London, United Kingdom.
As part of a profitable and expanding global business, the selected professional will design tax processes, navigate complex international regulations, and collaborate with various internal departments and external advisors. Employees participate in remote working structures complemented by mandatory international travel twice a year for team gatherings lasting up to two weeks.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate the preparation and review of corporate tax, VAT, and related filings across multiple entities to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Collaborate with external advisors to create and execute transfer pricing documentation and tax planning strategies
- Act as the primary contact for inquiries and audits from tax authorities, creating supporting documentation alongside external advisors
- Identify and implement opportunities to streamline tax data management, processes, and controls using automation and technology
- Handle tax provisioning and reporting in compliance with IFRS standards, including calculating effective tax rates and drafting financial statement disclosures
- Partner with legal, business operations, and the broader finance department to align cross-functional tax support
- Track international tax legislative updates and evaluate their potential organizational impact
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in technology, business, finance, economics, or another quantitative discipline
- Fully qualified accountant designation such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA
- Professional tax advisor qualification including CTA, ADIT, or equivalent
- Between three and five years of relevant tax experience within a Big 4 or Top 10 accounting firm, or an in-house multinational tax team
- Ability to travel internationally twice per year for company gatherings up to two weeks long
- Professional written and spoken English proficiency paired with strong presentation skills
