Infisical is seeking its first Strategic Finance professional to establish and scale the financial operations supporting the company's future growth. Infisical develops an open-source security infrastructure platform utilized by engineers for secrets management, certificates, and privileged access management. Backed by investors such as Y Combinator, Google, and Elad Gil, the platform serves prominent clients including NVIDIA, LG, and Hugging Face.
In this position, the chosen candidate will direct the financial function from the ground up, blending strategic planning with daily operations. This role offers cross-functional visibility into areas such as sales, recruitment, and fundraising, collaborating directly with the founders and leadership teams across Sales, Marketing, and Operations.

Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial tasks including accounts payable, accounts receivable, vendor relations, payment approvals, and employee reimbursements.
- Execute monthly financial closes, oversee revenue recognition, and maintain accurate corporate books.
- Handle tax filings, regulatory compliance, and multi-jurisdictional financial operations.
- Develop financial models, cash flow forecasts, headcount plans, scenario models, and runway analyses.
- Collaborate with executives on fundraising efforts, investor reporting, board documentation, and due diligence.
- Upgrade internal financial tooling, guidelines, and processes to boost operational efficiency.
- Oversee insurance renewals and additional operational tasks to maintain business continuity.
Requirements
- Minimum of four years of background in investment banking, startup finance, corporate finance, FP&A, or strategic finance, featuring tenure at a fast-growing B2B software-as-a-service enterprise.
- Solid grasp of accounting principles, financial statements, forecasting, budgeting, and planning.
- Demonstrated history of managing core finance functions such as month-end closes and accounts receivable.
- Capability to independently construct financial models and translate data into actionable business recommendations.
- High level of accountability with an autonomous work style suited for a rapid startup setting.
- Strong analytical focus combined with a broad strategic outlook.
- Residency in the United States or Canada.

- Background aiding venture-backed companies through fundraising rounds, board preparation, or investor diligence.
- Familiarity overseeing legal processes including vendor and customer agreements, non-disclosure agreements, data processing addendums, contract archiving, and liaising with external legal counsel.
