This professional will apply scientific methodologies to enhance marketing optimization and measurement frameworks, directly influencing corporate revenue growth and strategic planning.

The person in this role will partner across engineering, product, analytics, and marketing teams to evaluate advertiser behavior throughout the complete funnel. Responsibilities involve designing statistical models, deploying machine learning solutions, and assessing the performance of various acquisition channels such as paid media, organic social, email, and events. Candidates should excel at translating complex datasets into clear, actionable recommendations for executive leadership and building automated reporting pipelines.

This position requires collaboration on-site 1 to 2 times per quarter, allowing the employee to reside anywhere within the country. The role suits quantitative professionals with extensive experience solving practical business problems through advanced statistical analysis. Responsibilities

  • Analyze full-funnel advertiser behavior to pinpoint drivers of acquisition, conversion, retention, and churn
  • Design and implement advanced marketing measurement frameworks and statistical models to quantify return on investment
  • Build and deploy machine learning models including propensity, lifetime value, and forecasting models
  • Develop attribution methodologies to assess marketing effectiveness across multiple channels
  • Measure the incremental impact of marketing activities utilizing causal inference and experimentation frameworks
  • Conduct strategic analyses to optimize budget allocation and identify growth opportunities across markets
  • Translate complex analytical discoveries into clear insights for technical and leadership stakeholders
  • Build and maintain automated dashboards for self-serve data-driven decision making
  • Optimize ETL data pipelines to support reporting, deep dives, and feature engineering

Requirements

  • Have at least 6 years of combined post-graduate academic and industry experience applying scientific methods to real-world problems
  • Possess expertise in at least one scripting language like Python or R
  • Demonstrate proficiency in SQL and Hive with the ability to write efficient queries
  • Bring a strong background in statistics, quantitative analysis, and experimentation
  • Show proven experience building marketing measurement solutions and causal inference projects
  • Be able to travel to the office for in-person collaboration 1 to 2 times per quarter
