This position involves maintaining the health of clearing, trading, and connectivity systems across the Coinbase Derivatives Exchange (CDE) and Deribit.

Responsibilities also include participating in deployment testing for pre-production environments and assisting with client onboarding for prediction markets and event contracts.

The target annual base salary ranges from £81,630 to £90,700 GBP, with potential additions for equity, bonuses, and standard medical, dental, and vision coverage.
Responsibilities
- Provide real-time functional and technical support for exchange applications, clearing systems, and electronic trading across Deribit and CDE.
- Investigate and resolve client questions regarding connectivity, product schedules, business technology, market events, and exchange functionality.
- Deliver front-line support for internal and external investigations involving exchange operations, which includes handling error trade analysis and resolution.
- Collaborate with product and development teams to roll out platform updates, launch new products, and run deployment testing in pre-production environments.
- Facilitate the onboarding and ongoing operational enablement of clients and vendors across both exchanges, including event contracts and prediction markets listed on CDE.
- Pinpoint, record, and suggest operational workflow enhancements that align with overall business goals and platform expansion.
Requirements
- Possess at least one year of professional experience in technical operations or financial markets operations.
- Demonstrate hands-on product and operational familiarity with listed futures or options, including error trade analysis and resolution.
- Show the ability to communicate intricate technical solutions and problems clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Have experience providing multi-channel customer support via voice, email, and chat while maintaining quality in high-volume, time-sensitive situations.
Qualifications
- Hold a BA or BS degree in Economics, Information Systems, Finance, or another technical field.
- Bring familiarity with event contracts, prediction markets, FIX protocol, network protocols, SQL, or CRM platforms like JIRA and Salesforce.
