This position functions as a senior individual contributor role focused on the Reddit Ads portfolio, with a specific emphasis on app advertising technologies. The individual acts as a technical advisor for advertisers, agency partners, and internal departments such as Sales, Product, and Engineering. Core duties involve diagnosing complex technical incidents, managing urgent escalations, and turning customer feedback into product updates.
The role suits a professional with deep technical advertising knowledge who can operate independently and build structure in a growing regional function. Candidates are expected to work out of the London office one to two days per week and participate in a senior on-call rotation for platform issues.
Responsibilities
- Investigate and resolve complex issues related to Ads Manager, campaign creation, targeting, ad delivery, pacing, auctions, reporting, and measurement
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor to clients and partners regarding platform implementation, troubleshooting, and best practices
- Handle end-to-end escalations by coordinating with Product and Engineering stakeholders to resolve urgent, revenue-impacting problems
- Analyze logs, developer tools, APIs, and test cases to identify root causes of technical failures
- Translate recurring technical friction points and customer feedback into product roadmap recommendations and scalable documentation
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to test upcoming features and validate workflows prior to launch
- Build runbooks, tools, and automation to minimize repeat investigations and enhance the customer support experience
- Refine AI-enabled support workflows to ensure governance and accuracy
- Contribute to the strategic development of the EMEA Technical Solutions team and share regional insights with global leadership
- Participate in an on-call rotation to address critical platform blocks
Requirements
- Seven or more years of professional experience in technical solutions, solutions engineering, ad technology, digital advertising, integrations, or a related customer-facing technical job
- Comprehensive knowledge of digital advertising ecosystems, spanning campaign setup, targeting, delivery, bidding dynamics, measurement, and attribution
- Direct expertise in mobile app advertising technologies, including app event instrumentation, SDK and MMP configurations, attribution workflows, and SKAN
- Practical experience utilizing REST APIs, reading API documentation, evaluating request and response payloads, and resolving permission hurdles
- Familiarity with using logs, data analytics, and developer tools to troubleshoot technical anomalies
- Working understanding of web technologies and protocols like JavaScript, HTML, CSS, feeds, and XML
- Demonstrated ability to function independently, influence stakeholders, and establish structure in an evolving environment
