The person in this role will spearhead strategic sourcing projects spanning categories such as corporate functions, professional services, marketing, and customer experience business process outsourcing. This position suits an independent professional who can translate ambiguous business needs into concrete sourcing strategies, run complex negotiations, and coordinate decisions across multiple departments including finance, legal, security, and business units. Responsibilities encompass managing end-to-end sourcing engagements, analyzing spend data and market dynamics, building executive-ready business cases, and utilizing AI-enabled workflows to automate administrative tasks.

Responsibilities
- Manage complete sourcing engagements spanning intake, market strategy, RFx, evaluation, negotiation, and contract execution
- Lead commercial negotiations regarding pricing, rates, service levels, renewals, and termination rights
- Collaborate with legal, security, third-party risk management, peer-to-peer, finance, and business stakeholders
- Examine spend, supplier concentration, demand patterns, vendor proposals, and market dynamics to find savings and consolidation opportunities
- Develop clear business cases and executive-level recommendations addressing risks and trade-offs
- Handle multiple strategic workstreams asynchronously while surfacing risks and driving timely stakeholder decisions
- Implement AI-enabled and automated workflows to reduce administrative tasks
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of professional background in strategic sourcing, procurement, commercial operations, finance, or related areas
- Experience managing services categories like BPO, marketing, professional services, or corporate functions
- Demonstrated ability to independently lead complex sourcing projects and multi-stakeholder negotiations
- Strong quantitative capabilities for assessing vendor proposals, pricing models, benchmarks, and spend data
- Background collaborating with legal and risk teams on contracts, statements of work, order forms, and security reviews
- Written and verbal communication skills capable of translating analysis into concise recommendations for senior leaders
- Experience utilizing generative AI tools and copilots in everyday workflows while applying human-in-the-loop practices
