Responsibilities
- Manage the complete development lifecycle for financial systems, handling solution architecture, technical design, configuration, testing, deployment, release management, and production support.
- Establish the enterprise architecture and technical roadmap for global EPM and ERP platforms, steering cloud transformations across systems like NetSuite, SAP S/4HANA, or Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP.
- Design and deploy scalable integrations that move high-volume operational and financial data across data warehouses, ERPs, EPMs, HCMs, and loan ledgers.
- Partner with VPs and Senior Directors to align on operational priorities and resolve competing demands for the financial systems roadmap.
- Coordinate across product development, engineering, and accounting teams to manage risks, technical dependencies, and trade-offs.
- Oversee system operations, continuity, and availability by implementing monitoring protocols, triage rotations, alerting mechanisms, and playbooks.
- Cultivate a standard of quality by enforcing design principles and code reviews, while mentoring talent through guidance and feedback.
Requirements
- Bring over 10 years of professional background managing the design, rollout, and operation of enterprise financial reporting, planning, and ERP platforms at scale.
- Demonstrate expertise in building integrations between EPM and ERP solutions to support financial closes, consolidations, planning, forecasting, and regulatory disclosures.
- Possess proficiency in integration technologies such as REST and SOAP APIs, MuleSoft, Boomi, Python, SQL, Snowflake, Fivetran, and event-based patterns.
- Show a deep comprehension of financial processes including Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Record-to-Report, and financial planning.
- Execute technical designs for data models, transformation logic, audit trails, and reconciliation controls.
- Utilize CI/CD tools like Git, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins for automated deployment and release management.
- Demonstrate a proven ability to develop, lead, and retain high-performing technical teams.
