This hybrid role functions as a Sales Onboarding Advocate, serving as an entry point for technical sales careers within the company. The position combines technical troubleshooting, customer service, and sales responsibilities to assist business owners with initial setup and regulatory compliance across different states.

Selected candidates will guide clients through the onboarding process, manage ticketing queues, identify plan upgrade opportunities, and configure employment policies such as paid time off and overtime. Daily routines require active utilization of assigned artificial intelligence tools for research, drafting, and workflow enhancement. Successful individuals can eventually advance into specialized positions within Implementations and Solutions Engineering.

The position suits individuals who possess a competitive drive, strong communication skills, and an eagerness to master complex regulatory frameworks. Applicants must demonstrate daily experience incorporating artificial intelligence into their professional routines and a history of meeting performance metrics in high-volume environments.

Responsibilities

  • Manage high-volume phone and email interactions with small business owners during onboarding
  • Handle a ticket queue to track customer onboarding progress
  • Identify cross-sell and upgrade opportunities for retirement plans, health insurance, and workers compensation
  • Analyze tax discrepancies and resolve state portal issues in real time
  • Configure company policies regarding sick leave, paid time off, and overtime
  • Coordinate with internal risk teams and route complex situations to designated specialists
  • Utilize assigned artificial intelligence tools daily and provide constructive feedback on workflows

Requirements

  • One or more years of experience in a high-volume customer service or sales role involving quotas, KPIs, cross-selling, or upselling
  • Demonstrated day-to-day experience integrating artificial intelligence into tasks like writing, research, preparation, and summarization
  • Availability to work from the Denver, San Francisco, New York, or Scottsdale offices on designated hybrid days approximately two to three days per week
  • Possession of a secure, reliable, and consistent internet connection for remote work days
