Job Description

Figma is seeking a Marketing Engineer focused on AI Deployment to design programmatic go-to-market systems and automated workflows that enhance efficiency across the marketing department. Rather than performing traditional operations work, this position centers on building technical infrastructure, data layers optimized for artificial intelligence, and intelligence layers to support a product-informed revenue engine.

The company provides a platform that helps teams manage ideas through brainstorming, prototyping, translating designs into code, and AI iterations. Success in this role is evaluated by shipped AI agents, hours of manual work saved, and revenue or pipeline growth driven by the deployed systems.

The ideal candidate possesses strong experience as an AI builder and brings a systems-focused approach to go-to-market teams. This is a full-time position that can be performed from a US hub, including Austin, or remotely within the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and define high-impact AI use cases for marketing and manage them from prototype to deployment
  • Coach and collaborate with marketers to transform their workflows and build self-sufficiency
  • Develop custom tools, agents, integrations, and automations like APIs and MCP Servers for campaign operations, lifecycle, and content production
  • Manage and evolve a GitHub-controlled marketing AI cortex containing prompts, context files, and agents
  • Productize successful tools so they can be reused across the organization
  • Measure effectiveness by defining evaluation criteria, tracking adoption, and retiring underperforming agents
  • Produce documentation for workflows, tools, and playbooks
  • Research artificial intelligence trends in generative AI, large language models, and agentic systems, sharing wins with leadership

Requirements

  • Proven track record as an AI builder with shipped agents, automation, or LLM workflows adopted by real users
  • Deep expertise in Gumloop or equivalent orchestration platforms such as n8n, Workato, or Zapier
  • Experience maintaining shared prompt libraries or AI-readable knowledge bases using version control like GitHub
  • Strong focus on measurement, instrumentation, and iteration based on data signals
  • Five plus years of building systems for go-to-market teams within marketing, revenue, or sales operations, or technology transformation

Qualifications

  • Experience operating marketing automation and composable customer data platform tools including Customer.io, Hightouch, or Census
  • Ability to query data with SQL across warehouses like Snowflake or BigQuery with light scripting in Python or TypeScript
  • Background in leading cross-functional enablement, training, and change-management programs
  • Familiarity with product-led growth principles and Figma's product ecosystem

Core Skills

Benefits

  • Health, dental, and vision coverage
  • Retirement benefits featuring company contributions
  • Parental leave and family planning support
  • Mental health and wellness programs
  • Paid time off, flexible paid sick leave, holidays, and flexible paid time off for exempt employees
  • Company recharge days, cell phone and home internet reimbursements, and lifestyle spending accounts
  • Employee equity and an annual bonus plan for eligible non-sales roles
