In this remote position, the analyst will utilize operational data to pinpoint performance gaps, detect quality issues, and formulate data-driven recommendations to enhance business processes and products.

The analyst will be responsible for tracking retailer performance metrics, building monitoring systems, and presenting insights to both technical and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively monitor and resolve retailer performance issues across various dimensions by building dashboards and streamlined processes
  • Track and analyze performance outliers within Retailer Quality workstream metrics to determine root causes and suggest corrective actions
  • Analyze large datasets regarding Retailer Fulfillment Quality to independently execute analytical plans and reduce fulfillment issues
  • Handle ad hoc retailer analyses, analytics requests, launch impact assessments, and retailer escalations while sizing initiatives for roadmaps
  • Develop and present insight decks to cross-functional business and technical audiences using data-backed logical narratives

Requirements

  • At least one year of experience in data analytics, data science, consulting, corporate strategy, or business intelligence
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing and visualizing large datasets
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL alongside Excel or Google Sheets
  • Ability to aggregate large amounts of data while utilizing an understanding of micro and macro fulfillment metrics
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills to detect performance anomalies, build hypotheses, and draw conclusions
  • Proficiency in Google Slides or PowerPoint for communication
  • Capability to work independently with ownership and suggest new ideas to challenge current processes

Qualifications

  • Prior work experience in a logistics business or consumer marketplace
  • Familiarity with Jira, GitHub, and data warehouses such as Snowflake
  • Experience using data visualization tools like Tableau or Mode
  • Experience collaborating directly with engineering and product teams on scalable process solutions
  • Experience using AI tools for analytics, including data validation and reproducibility methods
