Figma is seeking a Corporate Communications Manager to help establish a new standard for public company communications. The platform enables teams to collaborate globally through brainstorming, prototyping, coding translation, and AI-driven iteration. In this full-time role, the professional will collaborate across finance, investor relations, legal, brand, product, and design departments to develop and execute comprehensive corporate storytelling strategies.
This position requires a dynamic communicator who can manage both analytical tasks and social media outreach seamlessly. Candidates must be comfortable navigating ambiguity, eager to construct new processes, and capable of translating intricate business subjects into accessible narratives. The selected individual will shape executive messaging for business and financial audiences, monitor the news cycle, and create integrated campaigns across multiple channels.

Responsibilities
- Develop and manage Figma corporate storytelling strategy from narrative creation to channel execution
- Design integrated campaigns spanning media outlets, owned platforms, and executive communications
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to turn business momentum into compelling narratives
- Work alongside executives to craft messages tailored for business and financial audiences
- Identify unique story angles placing Figma at the forefront of industry and cultural discussions
- Monitor news trends while proactively generating opportunities to keep the company ahead of the cycle
- Expand responsibilities and influence as the organization continues to scale
Requirements
- Seven or more years of in-house communications experience
- Proven track record of building and scaling communications initiatives from scratch
- Strong cultural and business fluency with the ability to simplify complex topics
- Experience working in fast-paced environments with undefined direction
