PolicyMe is seeking a Bilingual Quebec Licensed Insurance Advisor to support its mission of modernizing the insurance industry with digital-first solutions for Canadian families. Founded in 2018, the company provides life, critical illness, and health and dental insurance products. In this role, the advisor will handle inbound leads, educate prospective clients on coverage options, and guide them through purchasing policies.
Depending on organizational needs, the professional selected for this position will operate within either the sales track—focusing on converting inbound leads—or the retention track—focusing on policy renewals and assisting current policyholders. Daily responsibilities involve interacting with clients via phone, email, and SMS, recommending suitable coverage, and tracking interactions using HubSpot. Team members collaborate to streamline workflows and elevate the overall client experience.
This opportunity suits candidates who communicate fluently in both French and English, possess strong consultative sales skills, and thrive in a dynamic, high-volume environment. Personnel may work remotely or from the company office located in Toronto. This position requires passing background, credit, and reference checks for audit compliance.
Responsibilities
- Guide prospective clients through life, critical illness, and health and dental insurance offerings via the digital platform
- Communicate with customers in French and English across phone, email, and SMS channels
- Handle a monthly pipeline of 300 to 350 inbound leads
- Log conversations, application milestones, and follow-ups in HubSpot
- Provide consultative recommendations for coverage tailored to specific customer needs
- Answer inquiries regarding product details, client needs, and the insurance application process
- Work with colleagues and team leads to optimize operational workflows and client support
Requirements
- Fluent in French and English with strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Valid LLQP license as a Life and Accident and Sickness insurance agent, or willingness to obtain Quebec licensing
- One to four years of background experience working in insurance or an affiliated sector
- Demonstrated ability to manage an extensive lead pipeline with strong organizational skills
- Proven history of meeting or surpassing sales goals in a consultative setting
- Capacity to address objections and clarify intricate concepts
- High level of empathy and discretion regarding personal and financial matters
- Receptiveness to coaching, professional growth, and adaptive change

- Possession of a Group Insurance of Persons license
