Responsibilities span across in-app interactions, animated illustrations, web pages, email messages, lifecycle journeys, and product releases.
The role requires managing distinct visual and motion assignments from initial storyboarding to final execution. Candidates should feel comfortable utilizing tools like Figma, After Effects, and various animation software while incorporating user experience principles into their visual storytelling. Responsibilities
- Design motion-forward experiences across applications, websites, emails, lifecycle journeys, and product marketing campaigns
- Produce animations, motion studies, animated illustrations, iconography, and interaction patterns to clarify product behavior
- Manage defined visual and motion assignments from conceptualization and storyboarding to final production
- Contribute to product design efforts through user flow mapping, interaction concept development, and prototyping
- Develop and expand reusable visual assets, motion patterns, and components for company design systems
- Collaborate with product, engineering, brand, content, and marketing partners to build cohesive end-to-end experiences
- Prepare production-ready assets and collaborate with engineers to guarantee proper implementation
Requirements
- Minimum of three years of professional experience in motion, animation, visual, communication, or product design within a product-focused setting
- Portfolio showcasing expertise in motion and visual design, including animation, interaction, illustration, and digital storytelling
- Thorough knowledge of animation principles like timing, pacing, easing, transitions, and choreography
- Proficiency with industry-standard tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, and LottieFiles or Rive
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and technical production constraints for email and mobile environments
- Background in UX and product design, encompassing user flows, interaction design, and information hierarchy
