This role suits an experienced professional who can drive the research and development of large-scale policies affecting a global advertising platform. The person in this position will work with teams across Legal, Sales, Operations, Product, and Trust & Safety Policy to handle complex challenges and support business opportunities.
Key duties involve creating and maintaining strategic advertising policies for US and international markets, consulting with Product and Engineering during early-stage development, and drafting risk assessments for executive stakeholders. This position also serves as the final decision-maker for difficult ads policy escalations.

Responsibilities
- Manage the creation, drafting, and upkeep of strategic advertising guidelines across ad products for both domestic and global markets
- Partner with Product and Engineering groups during early product development to spot policy requirements and set guardrails
- Prepare risk analyses and strategic policy proposals for senior cross-functional leaders and executive stakeholders
- Act as a mentor and guide teammates as a senior peer leader
- Resolve complicated, grey-area advertising policy escalations by providing definitive, risk-balanced decisions
Requirements
- Hold at least 7 years of background in compliance, standards, or policy creation and execution
- Demonstrate significant experience working in technology, digital platforms, advertising, Trust and Safety, or related policy areas
- Show a proven ability to independently research, draft, apply, and maintain complex policy projects in fast-moving settings
- Bring deep subject matter expertise in content or advertising policy on a global scale
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills to explain complex regulatory matters in business terms
