Zoox is seeking a Technical Program Manager for a six-month contract within its Program Management Office. This initiative brings early-career talent into the team to work on the test fleet program for purpose-built robotaxis. The position is designed for individuals who show high learning potential and a history of strong academic or project performance. Contractors will tackle structured challenges to support autonomous mobility services, focusing on cross-functional alignment, process automation, and deliverable tracking.
The role requires working on-site at the office five days a week. It offers an opportunity to build foundational program management skills while collaborating with engineering, vehicle development, manufacturing, and operations groups. Zoox is focused on developing ground-up autonomous vehicle fleets and urban mobility ecosystems, combining robotics, machine learning, and design.
Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze data independently to design standardized program tracking templates
- Partner with engineering and product stakeholders to structure, define, and monitor major project deliverables
- Identify process automation opportunities and build enhanced reporting dashboards and tooling
- Review technical project deliverables to confirm they align with strategic objectives
- Build collaborative relationships across multiple functional teams to drive continuous project momentum
Requirements
- Demonstrated history of high performance in academic or project work
- Tangible background in delivering functional projects, such as student engineering contests or hackathons
- Experience improving teamwork dynamics and communication routines during group challenges
- Deep engagement with a technical subject through hobbies, side projects, or studies
- Availability to work on-site five days per week

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative or technical discipline such as Engineering, Computer Science, Math, or Physics
