This full-time, remote-friendly role centers on driving machine learning and recommendation initiatives that impact hundreds of millions of users worldwide. The position requires coordinating efforts across engineering, data science, product, and design to deliver features that shape how people discover audio content.
This role suits an experienced program manager who can navigate complex technical landscapes and guide cross-functional teams from planning through production launch. The selected candidate will own program roadmaps, manage dependencies, track risks, and orchestrate machine learning development workflows including training pipelines and deployment processes. Candidates must be comfortable leading through influence and communicating effectively with technical and executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end program management for large-scale machine learning and personalization initiatives involving engineering, data science, product, and design
- Drive the delivery of global recommendation systems and personalization models with clear outcome accountability
- Manage program roadmaps, milestones, dependency maps, and risk plans to resolve blockers proactively
- Orchestrate machine learning development workflows such as model training pipelines, experimentation, data infrastructure, and production deployment
- Partner with engineering leaders on capacity planning, resourcing, and technical trade-off decisions
- Drive alignment across machine learning engineering, data science, product, platform, and UX teams
- Establish program metrics, reporting rhythms, and dashboards to provide leadership with progress and risk visibility
- Communicate data-informed insights clearly to keep leadership informed and improve workflows across the machine learning lifecycle
Requirements
- Have at least 8 years of experience in technical program management, including work on machine learning, artificial intelligence, data platforms, or similarly complex technical projects
- Demonstrate a track record of delivering multi-team technical programs from early planning through production launch
- Understand machine learning development workflows including model training, experimentation, feature engineering, data pipelines, and production inference
- Build trusted relationships with engineering and product leaders within distributed, cross-functional settings
- Lead through influence rather than authority and handle ambiguity by creating clarity for teams
