Responsibilities

  • Manage execution, coordination, and risk mitigation for infrastructure projects to integrate systems with minimal performance disruption.
  • Oversee major infrastructure initiatives covering reliability, storage, distributed systems, cloud-native performance, and compliance programs like FedRAMP and SOC 2.
  • Collaborate with engineering, legal, compliance, and security groups to guarantee alignment and timely project completion.
  • Monitor milestones across multiple infrastructure teams handling data, caching, observability, and security engineering.
  • Brief executive leadership, internal teams, and external partners regarding program status, blockers, and dependencies.
  • Establish best practices in infrastructure program management to enhance visibility into progress and technical dependencies.
  • Coordinate large-scale testing and rollout strategies for critical updates to maintain high system reliability and reduce downtime.
  • Communicate technical constraints and risks clearly to senior leadership and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience working in infrastructure technical program management, site reliability engineering, cloud engineering, or infrastructure-focused software engineering.
  • Hands-on background working with cloud-native architectures and distributed systems across platforms such as AWS or GCP.
  • Deep technical familiarity with infrastructure components including storage like S3, RDS, and DynamoDB, caching via Redis, search through OpenSearch, and event-driven systems like Kafka.
  • Demonstrated track record of executing large-scale infrastructure programs such as migrations, reliability initiatives, cost optimization, and key management.
  • Cross-functional program management capabilities coordinating multi-team engineering organizations, tracking bottlenecks, and improving SLAs.

Qualifications

  • Background setting up and scaling technical program management functions within engineering organizations.
  • Prior involvement with high-visibility enterprise security and compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 and FedRAMP.
  • Experience handling infrastructure incidents and conducting post-incident analysis.
  • Background working alongside external enterprise partners on technical programs.
  • Professional background in site reliability engineering or software engineering.
