Responsibilities
- Design and implement distributed backend systems and foundational infrastructure elements such as dynamic configuration, secrets storage, and container orchestration utilizing React, TypeScript, gRPC, and Golang.
- Drive the technical roadmap for the group alongside stakeholders and engineering management by converting vague challenges into structured architectural plans.
- Develop and scale reliable services that optimize compliance tasks and agent workflows, managing full production delivery from initial design.
- Guide team members on testing methodologies, design principles, operational practices, and coding standards.
- Collaborate across multiple time zones with various teams to spot platform enhancements, foresee potential obstacles, and explain technical details clearly to leaders.
Requirements
- Minimum of eight years of software engineering experience focusing on the delivery of distributed systems that address complex problems.
- Extensive background in Go (Golang) alongside production experience building high-traffic, scalable backend services involving API creation, event-driven architectures, and databases.
- Practical knowledge of DevOps tooling and cloud infrastructure including Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, load balancers, caching mechanisms, and observability features.
- Demonstrated ability to drive technical initiatives independently, guide engineers, and shape architectural choices without direct authority.
- Responsible utilization of generative AI while maintaining human supervision to improve workflow quality, efficiency, and cost.
