As part of the Programmatic Technical Operations team, the Sr. Programmatic Tech Operations Specialist serves as the primary point of contact for clients, managing programmatic deal creation, campaign configuration, and launches. This position suits an operations professional with extensive programmatic advertising experience who can diagnose technical issues and optimize campaigns.
Working out of the New York office, the role requires physical attendance for in-person collaboration twice per week. The position is eligible for equity and incentive compensation alongside base salary.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary contact for clients regarding programmatic deal creation, campaign configuration, and launches
- Identify and resolve technical problems while monitoring campaign metrics and executing proactive optimizations
- Coordinate with internal engineering, product, and sales groups to convey client feedback and refine internal workflows
- Develop AI-assisted checklists, templates, and automations to minimize manual tasks and standardize deal setups and troubleshooting
Requirements
- Have at least five years of background in brand or performance advertising inside a rapidly scaling technology business
- Understand programmatic advertising ecosystems, exchange technologies, and deal categories like private marketplaces and open auctions
- Demonstrate hands-on practice setting up, optimizing, and debugging programmatic campaigns
- Commute to the New York office for collaboration twice a week
Qualifications
- Possess a bachelor degree in digital media, SaaS sales, or a related discipline, or matching professional experience
- Display familiarity with ad servers, data integrations, measurement tools, and tag management solutions such as Google Ad Manager, DV360, and The Trade Desk
