Cloudflare seeks a Senior Software Engineer to join its WARP Mobile SDK team. Responsibilities
- Design client architectures and public APIs for native iOS and Android SDKs
- Establish testable, well-documented, and lightweight foundations for customer integration
- Set standards for performance, diagnostics, compatibility, and release quality
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to turn security challenges into developer products
- Mentor native mobile engineers and resolve complex customer integration inquiries
Requirements
- Extensive experience building production software utilizing Swift for iOS or Kotlin for Android
- Familiarity with the alternate mobile ecosystem to support shared architectural decisions
- Background in designing or maintaining customer-distributed SDKs or developer tools
- Knowledge of mobile security concepts including secure key storage, device integrity, and authentication
- Familiarity with native mobile networking stacks and HTTP APIs
- Experience investigating production issues across application, network, and service boundaries
- Understanding of dependency management, mobile package distribution, and release practices
- Capacity to adhere to strict performance limits regarding binary size, startup duration, and battery consumption
Qualifications
- Acquaintance with cross-platform frameworks like React Native and Flutter that consume native SDKs
- Familiarity with lower-level languages such as C++ or Rust for high-performance security modules
