Cloudflare is seeking a Deal Intelligence Analyst to join its finance function and support the creation of a data-centric, AI-enhanced Deal Desk. Cloudflare operates a major global network that accelerates and secures millions of internet properties, ranging from personal blogs to large enterprise systems. In this remote position, the analyst will serve as the technical engine for the team, designing automated workflows, data systems, and executive dashboards that empower stakeholders to evaluate deal terms, preserve profit margins, and finalize complex commitment agreements swiftly.
This role is ideal for a full-stack analyst possessing strong engineering and data capabilities. The professional in this position will handle tasks ranging from building data pipelines to translating intricate metrics into understandable narratives for non-technical leadership. Candidates must be comfortable working closely with sales, infrastructure, and finance leaders to optimize pricing strategies and drive corporate growth.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain executive dashboards and self-serve reporting systems to track discount thresholds, win and loss rates, and margin performance.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to transform conceptual goals into automated data queries.
- Partner with finance, infrastructure, and deal desk leaders to analyze pricing data and support margin preservation objectives.
- Build and maintain ELT and ETL pipelines that extract and clean data from billing systems, CPQ, and Salesforce.
- Incorporate structured deal data into tools to automate routine approvals and provide real-time pricing guidance.
- Translate complex datasets into clear narratives for non-technical stakeholders to improve negotiation speed.
Requirements
- Three to five or more years of professional experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a technical RevOps role.
- Experience integrating data into AI workflows, utilizing LLM orchestration frameworks, or building predictive models.
- Expert-level SQL proficiency and deep familiarity with modern BI and data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, Sigma, or PowerBI.
- Programming skills in Python or TypeScript with hands-on pipeline building and API interaction experience.
- Familiarity with financial and SaaS business data models including margins, discount rates, ARR, and NRR.
- Knowledge of cloud data platforms, serverless architectures, and edge computing.
- Expertise in CRM data structures, quote-to-cash lifecycles, and CPQ complexities.
- Strong communication skills for bridging technical systems and financial operations.
Qualifications
- Background working closely with deal desk, finance, or sales strategy teams at a high-growth technology or SaaS company.
- Familiarity with data transformation and orchestration tools such as Airflow.
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform or alternative analytics databases.
