Responsibilities
- Break down large projects into individual tasks and deliver them in multiple phases with guidance from the tech lead and manager
- Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics during the product development lifecycle
- Articulate technical constraints and participate in decisions regarding risks and trade-offs
- Support operations and availability by creating metrics, monitoring systems, escalating issues, and participating in on-call and keep-the-lights-on efforts
- Contribute to the team community through growth activities such as the interview process
Requirements
- Have at least 1.5 years of experience working as a software engineer
- Possess experience shipping web applications using declarative UI frameworks such as React or Vue
- Demonstrate experience designing, developing, and launching scalable APIs using Python or Kotlin
- Show the ability to transform a business scenario into a complete solution interacting with multiple software components by writing well-tested, extensible code
- Feel comfortable navigating a large codebase, debugging code written by others, and performing code reviews
- Demonstrate ownership of personal growth by seeking feedback from teammates, managers, and stakeholders
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with a global engineering team
