In this position, the professional will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineering colleagues to create robust frameworks and features. Responsibilities include developing full-stack, user-facing capabilities that support millions of users, managing projects from initial design through release, and leveraging automated testing to guarantee technical excellence.
This opportunity is suited for a developer with professional programming experience who is interested in building scalable consumer or business applications. The position is based in Ontario, requiring office attendance for in-person collaboration one to two times per half, and does not provide relocation assistance.
Responsibilities
- Develop full-stack features oriented toward users to drive the future of visual inspiration on the platform
- Manage all phases of product development from initial ideation and prototyping to A/B testing, scaling, and release
- Partner closely with design, product, and backend engineering units to deliver end-to-end functionality
- Propose original product ideas and features from a user perspective
- Implement automated testing to maintain a high standard of technical quality across developed components
Requirements
- Minimum of two years of professional full-stack development experience building consumer-facing or business-facing products
- Proficiency in standard frontend and backend technology stacks such as JavaScript, React, APIs, storage, caching, and data processing
- Capability to write reliable, maintainable code following established best practices
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Availability to work from the office in Ontario for collaborative sessions one to two times per half
Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience
- Ability to stay informed regarding emerging technologies and determine their appropriate adoption
