Figma is seeking experienced full-stack engineers to join its Growth and Monetization Engineering organization. The company builds a collaborative platform that enables teams to handle everything from initial brainstorming and prototyping to code translation and AI-driven iteration. Within this group, engineers work across areas such as Growth, Billing, Enterprise, and Discovery to support millions of users ranging from startups to large enterprises.

This full-stack position involves designing and scaling secure, reliable, and user-friendly systems across the product suite. Professionals in this role will collaborate closely with product, design, data science, support, and sales teams to drive global expansion and user-led growth initiatives. Depending on the specific team, daily responsibilities may range from developing global billing infrastructure to establishing secure enterprise access controls or improving workplace discovery tools.

The role is open as a full-time position that can be performed out of US company hubs or remotely within the United States. Ideal candidates have a background in building complex production systems, possess strong cross-functional communication skills, and enjoy contributing to an inclusive team culture through peer mentorship and code collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, test, and ship full-stack features using technologies like TypeScript, React, Ruby, Go, and C++
  • Take ownership of critical product areas affecting user experience, internal productivity, and revenue operations
  • Partner with product, design, data science, support, and sales teams to guide product direction and solve challenges
  • Operate and monitor developed systems while prioritizing security, performance, reliability, and user experience
  • Support team culture through peer mentorship, constructive feedback, and inclusive engineering practices

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of professional software engineering experience
  • Proven track record of shipping and maintaining complex production systems or products
  • Full-stack background utilizing modern front-end frameworks like React and TypeScript alongside back-end technologies such as Ruby, Python, Go, and PostgreSQL
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities for cross-functional teamwork

Qualifications

  • Experience with B2B SaaS, billing or payments infrastructure, developer platforms, or enterprise-scale systems
  • Familiarity with tools and technologies including Stripe, Salesforce, NetSuite, Snowflake, SCIM, SAML, or WebAssembly
  • Background in experimentation, observability, compliance automation, or internal tool development
  • Previous work on extensibility platforms such as plugins, APIs, and widgets, or contributions to open source developer communities
