Responsibilities
- Conduct performance analysis and implement optimizations across the blockchain node stack to lower infrastructure expenses while meeting reliability targets
- Develop health-check systems, observability tools, and automated failover protocols for blockchain nodes
- Perform right-sizing tasks across the node fleet by profiling workloads and building capacity models
- Collaborate with indexer teams, wallet units, and protocol integration engineers to spread performance gains throughout the platform stack
- Establish service level objectives and indicators for node services
- Verify new blockchain versions for resource efficiency and conduct regression testing prior to production launches
Requirements
- At least two years of software engineering experience involving production infrastructure optimization, profiling, or systems-level performance analysis
- Background in running distributed systems, handling capacity, tuning performance, and identifying resource bottlenecks
- Knowledge of backend programming, with a preference for Go
- Familiarity with systems instrumentation and observability tools like Prometheus, Datadog, Grafana, and pprof
- Proven ability to enhance infrastructure efficiency through technical engineering adjustments

- Prior exposure to crypto infrastructure, consensus protocols, or blockchain nodes
- Interest in understanding how different protocols function under load and during upgrades
