Responsibilities
- Define the technical direction, long-term roadmap, and strategic initiatives for marketplace, search, ads platform, and app experiences
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to align technical excellence with business outcomes across consumer-facing features
- Foster an ownership culture focused on scalability, operational efficiency, and high accountability
- Design and extend core platform functionality to support the rollout of new products and features
- Select appropriate tools, platforms, and technologies to guarantee system consistency and reliability
- Mentor and guide engineers by setting strong technical standards and supporting professional growth
Requirements
- Have at least 10 years of professional experience working across the full technology stack and driving architectural improvements in backend systems
- Demonstrate a proven track record of leading critical, company-wide projects that span multiple engineering teams
- Possess extensive background in developing and implementing technical strategies that significantly improve system reliability and responsiveness
- Bring previous project management or people management experience with strong communication, influencing, and coaching skills

Qualifications
