Responsibilities
- Design and guide the multi-year architecture of the machine learning platform, covering model governance, inference, and training.
- Formulate organization-wide benchmarks regarding continuous integration, testing, observability, MLOps, and model lifecycle management.
- Drive advanced usage of multi-workspace tactics, Unity Catalog implementations, and data mesh concepts.
- Build highly scalable machine learning pipelines utilizing Delta Lake, Spark, and MLflow.
- Enhance the reliability, cost-efficiency, and speed of the machine learning infrastructure.
- Examine and adopt new Databricks capabilities as they emerge.
- Advise data science and production engineering teams as a senior technical authority.
- Represent the organization at industry meetups and machine learning conferences.

Requirements
- Possess ten to twelve years of background designing and scaling data or machine learning platforms.
