Zoox is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Continuous Integration to lead the stability, performance, and efficiency of internal testing systems. In this full-time hybrid position, the selected professional will maintain infrastructure utilized daily by over a thousand developers managing a massive industrial codebase. Zoox is building custom autonomous robotaxis and the infrastructure required to scale urban mobility services. Responsibilities
- Manage continuous integration reliability, performance, and cost efficiency from end to end
- Redesign integration failure analysis, support workflows, and incident response leveraging modern artificial intelligence tools
- Collaborate across departments to pinpoint integration slowdowns and resolve them at the platform level
- Establish the technical standard for continuous integration operations and mentor peers
- Assist internal teams in maximizing the efficiency and dependability of their build processes
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of programming and software engineering background
- Extensive background in developer tooling, infrastructure, or platform engineering
- Practical experience running distributed continuous integration architectures at scale, with Buildkite preferred over Jenkins or GitHub Actions
- Working knowledge of contemporary build tools like Bazel, along with remote execution and caching dynamics
- Strong familiarity with Git version control
