Canonical seeks a Senior Organisational Development Practitioner to elevate leadership and management excellence across a globally distributed technology enterprise. In this role, you will define coaching standards, mentor practitioners, and embed within engineering and commercial teams to diagnose leadership capabilities and drive measurable improvements.

Requirements

  • Ability to operate effectively inside external organisations without formal authority
  • Clear philosophy on development, including when coaching applies versus role or fit decisions
  • Excellent written and spoken English proficiency
  • Personal motivation aligned with Canonical's mission
  • Willingness to travel up to four times yearly for internal events

Qualifications

  • Exceptional academic record from high school and university
  • Management consulting background with comfort in ambiguity, diagnosis, and proposal execution
  • Experience coaching across distributed, fast-moving technical organisations
  • Experience building competency or development frameworks
  • Experience designing and running online and in-person workshops or training sessions
  • Learning-design judgment for development materials
  • Talent-development experience
