Spotify is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager for Information Technology to join the team in London. The IT Studio supports approximately 8,000 employees globally by managing endpoint devices, identity and access, networking, productivity platforms, workplace technology, and internal AI systems. In this role, the selected candidate will direct a group of Engineering Managers along with roughly 50 engineers and technicians across nine teams.
This position suits an experienced technical leader who can define engineering strategy, develop managerial talent, and align technical choices with broader corporate goals. The individual will collaborate with product directors, legal, procurement, and cross-functional partners to drive operational reliability, security, compliance, and privacy.

Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor Engineering Managers across multiple squads to support their professional growth
- Formulate and articulate the technical strategy for the studio in alignment with business objectives
- Elevate technical judgment within the manager group and optimize operational practices
- Drive continuous improvements in reliability, engineering standards, and team workflows
- Embed security, compliance, privacy, and reliability principles into technical decisions
- Help shape the adoption and internal deployment of artificial intelligence tooling across the company
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners including legal and procurement
Requirements
- Possess at least 8 years of engineering experience
- Demonstrate prior experience leading Engineering Managers across multiple teams
- Bring background in enterprise technology such as SaaS platforms, identity and access, workplace tech, or endpoint management
- Have practical experience with artificial intelligence tooling or related technologies
