In this on-site leadership position, the individual will oversee income tax accounting, compliance, and governance across U.S. federal, state, and international territories. The person in this position will manage the global income tax provision under ASC 740, oversee SEC disclosures, handle worldwide direct tax compliance, and maintain the tax control environment including SOX compliance. Responsibilities include building multi-year strategies, leading high-performing teams, partnering across finance functions, and coordinating external audits. The ideal candidate brings extensive technical accounting depth, operational rigor, and a commitment to integrating generative AI and modern analytics into daily tax workflows.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a multi-year strategy for global tax reporting aligned with company priorities
- Lead worldwide quarterly and annual income tax provisions under ASC 740
- Oversee direct tax compliance across U.S. federal, state, local, and foreign jurisdictions
- Integrate artificial intelligence, automation, and modern technologies into tax operations
- Manage the global tax reporting control environment and ensure SOX compliance
- Coordinate tax support for external financial statement audits and internal reviews
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Certified Public Accountant license
- Minimum of fifteen years of progressive corporate tax experience
- At least five years of experience leading and developing teams
- Demonstrated expertise managing global tax reporting and compliance for a multinational public company
- Proven ability to leverage generative AI, automation, and advanced finance technologies
Qualifications
- Master degree in Taxation, Accounting, or MBA in Finance or a related field
- Background in Big Four public accounting
- Experience working in the technology or SaaS industry
- Familiarity with tax technologies such as OneSource Tax Provision, OneSource Income Tax, Workiva, SAP, Oracle, or Alteryx
