This position is well-suited for an autonomous technical professional who is comfortable communicating with executives like CEOs as well as sketching application programming interfaces with software engineers on a whiteboard. Responsibilities involve partnering closely with account executives, leading discovery sessions, building product demonstrations, and establishing trusted advisor relationships with clients. Approximately twenty-five percent travel is expected to support in-person customer meetings, team off-sites, and related gatherings.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with account executives on pre-sales tasks such as qualification, proofs-of-concept, requests for proposal, and technical presentations
- Lead customer discovery sessions to identify unique requirements and challenges
- Design and deliver complex product demonstrations highlighting product capabilities
- Act as a trusted advisor to introduce innovative system architectures and solutions
- Contribute reusable demonstration materials and knowledge sharing within the solutions engineering community
Requirements
- Minimum of eight years working in a presales solutions engineering role focusing on complex technical products, or ten plus years in professional support with customer-facing delivery or consulting experience
- Proficiency in software development across backend systems, web development, or building with REST application programming interfaces
- Strong communication and storytelling skills tailored for multiple audience levels
- Proven ability to manage time efficiently and handle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master degree in a technical discipline like computer science, engineering, mathematics, or equivalent practical background
- Prior exposure to new business accounts and evangelizing emerging technology use cases
- Familiarity with cloud application architecture and platforms including Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure
- Past industry exposure relating to telecommunications, session initiation protocol, contact centers, or security
