Operating primarily through a distributed workforce model, Canonical employs over 1,200 people across more than 75 countries.
In this position, the engineer will work on mission-critical Golang code involving security sandboxing, containerization, software delivery, telemetry, and device management. Responsibilities include building new features, troubleshooting operating system level issues, participating in code reviews, and designing solutions that maintain robustness during unexpected interruptions like power outages. Responsibilities
- Collaborate proactively alongside a distributed engineering group

- Work remotely while traveling internationally up to two times yearly for team gatherings
Requirements
- Familiarity with Linux system-level fundamentals including namespaces, cgroups, and apparmor
