Responsibilities
- Develop infrastructure to manage metadata for hundreds of billions of files and process hundreds of petabytes of user data
- Support millions of concurrent connections across the platform
- Expand the data-fabric to link hundreds of millions of global applications, devices, and services
- Drive initiatives that improve interoperability and adaptability across multiple ecosystems
- Evaluate and optimize the analytics platform to maintain advanced data extraction capabilities
- Partner with cross-functional groups to deploy solutions improving infrastructure performance, reliability, and security
- Participate in occasional on-call duties to resolve bugs, outages, and operational problems
Requirements
- Possess a BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical discipline involving coding, or have equivalent technical experience
- Bring a minimum of five years of professional software development background
- Show proven experience creating and maintaining large-scale, multi-threaded, and geographically distributed backend systems
- Demonstrate proficiency in programming and debugging using languages such as Python, Go, C, C++, or Java
- Have hands-on background working with operating system internals, filesystems, databases, networks, and compilers
- Demonstrate the capacity to independently execute assigned tasks
