The firm is currently seeking a backend-leaning Full-Stack Engineer to join the Creative Voices team in the United Kingdom.
This position involves working within a compact group that transforms cutting-edge speech research into production-ready software. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in backend engineering, solid system design fundamentals, and the ability to operate production services independently. Responsibilities include modernizing voice architecture, stabilizing cloning and fine-tuning pipelines, and developing new voice creation capabilities. While audio background is not mandatory, familiarity with scaling high-traffic systems and upgrading complex software is advantageous.

Responsibilities
- Modernize voice architecture elements including APIs, data models, and storage systems
- Ensure the reliability of voice cloning and fine-tuning pipelines through failure recovery, monitoring, and retries
- Develop capabilities for voice verification, recommendation, and creation
- Take charge of workstreams from initial design through to production deployment, handling frontend modifications when necessary
Requirements
- Demonstrated backend engineering background in creating and scaling high-traffic production environments
- Solid grounding in database fundamentals and system design, encompassing security, concurrency, data modeling, and migrations
- Practical experience running production services supported by strong debugging, monitoring, and failure recovery capabilities
- Independent ownership alongside clear communication and the motivation to ship quickly while navigating across the technology stack
