Spotify is hiring a Fraud Analyst to join the Revenue Protection Operations team in London on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This position focuses on safeguarding revenue, minimizing revenue leakage, managing chargebacks and disputes, and preventing payment fraud, creator onboarding issues, and platform misuse.
The successful candidate will work alongside a global network of engineers, product managers, data scientists, and business managers to strengthen the platform's operational defenses. Responsibilities include analyzing emerging misuse trends, utilizing artificial intelligence and automated tooling, processing daily escalations, and collaborating with cross-functional partners to refine risk mitigation frameworks.

Responsibilities
- Investigate flagged suspicious activities to secure genuine users and minimize revenue leakage
- Adopt, test, and utilize emerging AI tools and automated solutions to boost detection efficiency
- Partner with engineering, product teams, and external vendors to design and test system updates
- Identify new fraud patterns and present data-driven insights to establish performance guardrails
- Manage daily escalations related to misuse while translating insights into risk frameworks
- Assist leadership in updating internal operational playbooks, process automation, and policies
Requirements
- Minimum of two years of professional experience as a fraud analyst or within revenue protection
- Background working in e-commerce, merchant fraud, marketplaces, or creator platforms
- Familiarity with financial crime risks, dispute and chargeback management, and prevention techniques
- Hands-on experience utilizing rule-based or machine learning fraud prevention platforms
- Data analysis proficiency using SQL and dashboard visualization tools such as Looker or Tableau
- Ability to work in London on a 12-month fixed-term contract
