Responsibilities

  • Compound prescribed medications by mixing and packaging orders, overseeing inventory, and maintaining a compliant workspace
  • Partner directly with a pharmacist to guarantee safe, precise, and prompt medication preparation
  • Adhere to established policies, procedures, and best practices under the supervision of the compounding manager or pharmacist
  • Unload medication and packaging deliveries, including lifting boxes weighing up to 55 pounds
  • Process prescription and over-the-counter orders through picking, packing, and workspace organization
  • Resolve shipping and order discrepancies alongside the operations, care, and pharmacist teams

Requirements

  • Previous experience working in a pharmacy or fulfillment setting
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a compounding role involving product preparation
  • Familiarity with compounding procedures, formulations, and best practices
  • Capacity to lift boxes up to 55 pounds
  • Ability to operate with a high degree of independence and autonomy
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Active, unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license issued by the state of Florida
