The organization seeks a full-time Technical Project Manager to serve as the vital link between technical implementation and business strategy. In this capacity, the professional will advocate for the user, working alongside UI/UX architects, software developers, and internal stakeholders to steer product releases from initial concept through launch and subsequent stages.
This position requires a leader who can manage product backlogs, lead Agile ceremonies, oversee a manual testing team, and handle regulatory compliance certifications such as ONC, Surescripts, and MDToolbox/DEA. Additionally, the role involves directing MIPS clinical services, handling escalations, delivering financial reports, and mentoring a team of product owners. Candidates will also maintain internal trackers and manage developer schedules.

Working hours are set from either 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM EST or 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST. Please note that this is structured as an independent contractor role.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for major product inquiries and system issues
- Gather and document functional, technical, reporting, and data requirements
- Prioritize and manage the product backlog for development readiness
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint reviews and planning sessions
- Partner with quality assurance and development teams to ensure smooth releases
- Communicate new feature value to clients and internal staff members
- Supervise, evaluate, and mentor the Product Owner team
- Manage internal administrative tools including assignment trackers and developer PTO
- Manage system certification processes for standards like ONC, Surescripts, and MDToolbox/DEA
- Structure and oversee the productivity and schedules of the manual testing team
- Direct MIPS clinical services, handle escalations, and provide financial reporting
Requirements
- Extensive background in defining and communicating detailed requirements
- Extensive experience working within Agile development environments
- Demonstrated history of designing, implementing, and delivering tech products
- Proficiency with Jira software and cloud-based architecture
- Experience managing teams and providing mentorship
Qualifications
- Prior background working in healthcare or health technology within medical practices
- Experience conducting user research and producing user flows and personas
- Familiarity with leveraging analytics to drive product decisions
