Ramp is seeking a Technical Consultant, S/4HANA to join its team on an on-site basis. Ramp builds financial infrastructure technology that automates spending, risk management, and book closing for tens of thousands of businesses.
In this position, you will act as the primary technical advisor for Enterprise and Strategic Enterprise clients operating SAP S/4HANA. You will serve as a bridge between customers and internal product, design, and engineering groups, helping design financial workflows and integrations that scale with organizational needs.

Responsibilities
- Manage SAP S/4HANA integrations, system configurations, and designs for Enterprise and Strategic Enterprise accounts
- Partner with Customer Activation and Account Management teams to evaluate client needs and propose scalable multi-entity architectures
- Collaborate with onboarding specialists to accelerate technical workstreams and shorten time-to-value
- Troubleshoot complex S/4HANA integration blockers and assist with configuration choices
- Conduct technical discovery sessions to understand customer workflows and recommend optimal API implementations
- Relay client feedback and integration pain points to Product and Engineering teams to influence the platform roadmap
- Produce internal documentation and tooling to support future S/4HANA integrations
Requirements
- Four or more years of experience in technical consulting, solutions engineering, implementations, or customer-facing technical roles within SaaS or fintech
- Three or more years of hands-on work with SAP S/4HANA, encompassing finance modules, integration patterns, and enterprise deployment models
- Familiarity with S/4HANA finance and accounting workflows including Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and cost center management
- Ability to explain APIs, system architecture, and integration logic to finance and operations stakeholders
