Vercel is seeking a Starts Program Lead to oversee and expand its global initiative supporting early-stage technology companies from pre-seed through Series A. Vercel is an agentic infrastructure provider that helps developers and agents deploy software swiftly and securely, serving millions of global users including prominent enterprises.
In this position, you will direct the global startup program from strategy through execution, managing a dedicated team and guiding initiatives such as the Vercel AI Accelerator. You will establish and nurture connections with venture capital firms, startup incubators, and accelerators to bring new technology companies into the ecosystem. Collaborating closely with sales, marketing, and developer relations, you will help transition early-stage adopters into long-term customers while serving as a prominent ambassador for the brand.

Responsibilities
- Manage the global startup program strategy, roadmap, and end-to-end execution for companies ranging from pre-seed to Series A stages
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team dedicated to startup programs
- Scale initiatives that foster activation and ongoing platform usage, including the Vercel AI Accelerator
- Forge relationships with venture capital firms, incubators, and accelerators to onboard new startups
- Collaborate with the sales department to guide promising startups toward long-term customer success
- Establish structured pathways for user progression from initial adoption to deeper platform retention
- Work alongside marketing, media, and developer relations to integrate the program into ecosystem distribution
- Represent the organization publicly by advising founders and hosting events within the startup community
Requirements
- At least 6 years of professional experience in ecosystem, partnership, or program roles within high-growth or developer-focused technology companies
- Demonstrated success building and scaling programs from inception to impact
- Prior experience managing and leading teams
- A strong history of forging strategic ties with venture capital firms and accelerators
- Familiarity with modern frontend technologies including React, Next.js, Vite, Astro, and Remix
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical stakeholders across product, engineering, and design
Qualifications
- Contributions to open-source projects centered on modern frontend frameworks
- Existing professional relationships with top-tier venture capital funds and startup accelerators
