The organization is currently seeking a Staff Qualitative UX Researcher to join the monetization team in San Francisco. This position suits an experienced and creative storyteller who can scope and execute user research to uncover actionable insights that drive product impact. In this capacity, the professional will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners across marketing, product, and design to influence monetization strategy. The role requires partnering with product teams, guiding decisions, and communicating findings effectively across the organization. Candidates will also engage with AI tooling and conduct research related to artificial intelligence features.

The position requires occasional in-office collaboration occurring one to two times every six months, permitting the selected individual to operate from locations nationwide. Responsibilities

  • Plan, prioritize, and conduct qualitative research studies utilizing various methodologies across monetization product areas.
  • Pinpoint and highlight knowledge gaps regarding monetization offerings that can affect product success.
  • Establish strategic partnerships with cross-functional peers in design, product, and marketing to guide overall strategy.
  • Deliver engaging, actionable research findings to leadership, product teams, and broader audiences.
  • Direct product strategy and decisions within monetization that extend beyond immediate teams.

Requirements

  • Possess at least five years of background in planning, designing, and executing end-to-end product research within cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrate working familiarity with contemporary artificial intelligence tools and hands-on study design for AI-driven features.
  • Apply a broad qualitative toolkit to choose appropriate methods for various research inquiries.
  • Display strong communication, group facilitation, and collaboration abilities.

Qualifications

  • Hold a Bachelor degree in a relevant academic discipline, or demonstrate equivalent practical experience.
  • Bring prior professional exposure within enterprise SaaS, ad tech, or B2B industries.
  • Demonstrate experience conducting user research specifically targeted at businesses or B2B products.
  • Possess a background working within the advertising space.
