Coinbase seeks a Sr. Systems Analyst, Enterprise Apps, Finance to join its Enterprise Applications and Architecture team on a remote basis. In this position, the professional will act as the subject matter expert for financial systems, primarily supporting NetSuite, Zip, and related technologies to automate and streamline finance operations.
This role suits an independent problem-solver who enjoys continuous learning and working within a small, agile engineering group. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with product managers, accounting, legal, sourcing, and security stakeholders to translate business goals into scalable technical architectures. Responsibilities involve building and maintaining integrations, driving process transformations for activities like month-end closing, and partnering across teams to deploy AI automations.
Applicants should possess substantial administrative and configuration experience with source-to-pay and finance systems, along with expertise in integration patterns, workflow design, and Agile methodologies. Responsibilities
- Partner with product managers and finance stakeholders to implement the product roadmap for NetSuite, Navan, Zip, and related financial applications
- Analyze current business processes, execute fit and gap analyses, and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions
- Perform daily platform administration, maintenance, and support for Zip and connected boundary systems
- Create functional and technical specifications, data flow diagrams, and business architecture diagrams
- Design and build workflows, customizations, integrations, and analytics reports within Zip and other platforms
- Collaborate with developers and engineers to build and deploy AI automations and agentic flows
- Develop test plans and lead integration and user acceptance testing alongside cross-functional teams
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, observability, tech debt management, automated testing, and incident resolution
- Troubleshoot and fix production issues based on severity and impact
- Support business process transformations to improve month-end closure and reporting efficiencies
- Conduct solution walkthroughs, application demos, and user training sessions
Requirements
- 5+ years of system administration experience with source-to-pay systems and other finance applications
- 4+ years of hands-on configuration experience across multiple Zip modules, custom forms, roles, workflows, AI agents, and reporting
- 3+ years of experience with large-scale source and procurement system implementations and middleware integrations
- 1+ years of experience designing and deploying slackbots or workflow-based agents using n8n and Workato Genie
- Strong understanding of system integration principles, REST or SOAP APIs, file-based integrations, and event-driven architectures
- Solid knowledge of finance business processes including procurement, vendor management, expenses, payables, and general accounting
- Deep understanding of month-end accounting processes and financial reporting features in NetSuite and Zip
- Experience with Agile methodology, Jira backlog refinement, and incident management processes
- Desire to learn new systems and act autonomously within a growing finance function
