Operating with teams located in San Francisco, Denver, and New York, the company is currently hiring a Software Engineer, ML Platform to join its machine learning platform division in a hybrid work arrangement.

This position centers on constructing, scaling, and maintaining robust infrastructure to support machine learning and artificial intelligence operations across the organization. The engineer will partner closely with application owners and AI/ML engineers to deliver reliable solutions, manage data pipelines, and implement automated MLOps pipelines. Applicants should be comfortable engaging with emerging AI tools and incorporating them into daily development workflows.

Ideal candidates possess extensive programming experience, a deep understanding of the machine learning lifecycle, and familiarity with cloud platform environments. Responsibilities

  • Design and build MLOps solutions featuring automated pipelines for deploying, running, monitoring, debugging, and retraining artificial intelligence and machine learning models
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance frameworks dedicated to machine learning model deployment and development
  • Partner with application owners and machine learning builders to establish service level agreements and business requirements for API-driven services
  • Create and maintain the underlying infrastructure that supports machine learning services
  • Build new patterns for deploying machine learning models utilizing automated testing and CI/CD pipelines
  • Integrate artificial intelligence tools into standard engineering workflows to streamline complex tasks

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years of software engineering experience utilizing Python, Ruby, or Java
  • Demonstrated background in designing and building infrastructure and platform services for the machine learning lifecycle, including feature stores, observability tools, model development, and deployment solutions
  • Familiarity with at least one major cloud platform
  • Commitment to working from the San Francisco office approximately two to three days per week
