Job Description

The group constructs and manages nodes, indexers, wallets, and orchestration frameworks that facilitate essential crypto functions across dozens of networks and hundreds of tokens. This function fits individuals who can navigate complex technical landscapes, lead large-scale architectural projects, and drive reliability and security improvements for global transaction systems. Team members gather periodically for in-person collaboration sessions known as surges, though the role functions remotely on a day-to-day basis.

Responsibilities

Design and execute a multi-quarter technical strategy encompassing nodes, wallets, indexing, and asset lifecycles.
Develop core platform infrastructure including liquidity primitives, indexers, and wallet systems to achieve high availability and scalability.
Spearhead the design and rollout of major cross-team architectural transformations from conception to production.
Establish engineering benchmarks regarding security, reliability, correctness, and observability for crypto asset operations.
Analyze observability metrics to isolate structural platform deficiencies and lead systematic remediation efforts.
Represent the Blockchain Platform group in executive and cross-organizational discussions to align stakeholders on technical initiatives.

Requirements

Possess at least twelve years of software engineering experience.
Accumulate a minimum of four years operating at a staff-plus level designing and scaling high-throughput transaction systems.
Demonstrate hands-on involvement with blockchain protocols at the node or protocol layer.
Show a history of leading large-scale, multi-team architectural projects from initial design to production environments.

Qualifications

Utilize artificial intelligence or agent-based automation to decrease operational toil in infrastructure settings.
Apply generative AI responsibly while maintaining human oversight for workflow improvements.
