This position rests within the Consumer Payments team, which is responsible for the systems, user experiences, and controls handling how millions of people send, receive, and transfer cryptocurrency. The person in this role will take charge of crucial user journeys across both web and mobile environments, creating efficient and dependable payment procedures while guiding junior team members and minimizing customer friction on a broad scale.

Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end frontend creation for core crypto money movement tools, covering send, receive, and status tracking across mobile and web interfaces
- Improve customer journey latency, availability, and service level objectives for assigned payment features
- Develop customer-facing additions including real-time transaction status trackers and contact management systems
- Collaborate alongside product management, design, and backend engineering colleagues to plan, rank, and release projects that lower customer support contact rates
- Detect and fix frontend performance issues within payment sequences to boost reliability and lower end-to-end latency for large user bases
Requirements
- Accumulate at least five years of software engineering background
- Demonstrate deep expertise in React and React Native
- Show a proven history of releasing consumer-facing applications end-to-end in high-scale settings with an emphasis on user experience, performance, and reliability
- Possess experience managing service level objectives and driving measurable performance enhancements in user-facing systems
- Exhibit the capability to mentor less experienced engineers and act as a senior technical voice
- Apply generative AI responsibly while keeping human oversight for workflow efficiency, quality, and cost
