In this role, the engineer will create artificial intelligence infrastructure and agentic systems designed to automate compliance procedures and customer support operations. The work involves developing solutions where intelligent agents autonomously resolve inquiries and execute tasks, moving away from manual workflows.
This position requires leading the technical design and deployment of large language model architectures, grounding strategies, and integration pipelines aimed at lowering expenses and accelerating resolution speeds. The engineer will construct secure backend systems in Python and Golang, establish model guardrails, and implement measurement frameworks. Collaboration with product development, compliance, and customer experience groups is essential to identify optimization opportunities.

Responsibilities
- Design and deliver agentic AI systems for customer support and compliance automation from LLM orchestration to deployment and monitoring
- Build scalable and secure backend services in Python and Golang to support AI workloads
- Develop model integration pipelines, guardrails, grounding mechanisms, and measurement frameworks
- Drive end-to-end project execution on complex AI initiatives while balancing latency, accuracy, cost, and reliability
- Partner with Customer Experience, Compliance, and product engineering teams to identify automation opportunities
- Lead code reviews, mentor engineers on AI system design patterns, and participate in on-call rotations and incident response
Requirements
- Five plus years of software engineering experience with expertise in production services built on a microservices architecture
- Hands-on production experience building LLM-based applications, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, or agentic AI frameworks
- Proficiency in Python and Golang or comparable backend languages with experience integrating third-party AI models and APIs
- Demonstrated track record of delivering end-to-end projects with measurable business impact in ambiguous problem spaces
- Experience building data pipelines, integrating external vendors, or working with large-scale unstructured data sources
- Ability to utilize generative AI responsibly with human oversight to improve workflow efficiency and quality
Qualifications
- Experience navigating rapid company growth from startup to mid-size
- Familiarity with GenAI frameworks and tools, Python, GoLang, Docker, Postgres, and MongoDB
- Background in AI or LLM infrastructure
