Vercel is seeking a Senior Product Designer, Growth to shape the complete self-serve customer journey, including onboarding, activation, adoption, monetization, and retention for both human users and agents. Operating as an agentic infrastructure company, Vercel helps developers move rapidly from ideas to production with a secure and robust developer experience, serving major enterprises and millions of developers globally. In this position, you will report to the Product Design department and collaborate closely with Growth Product, Engineering, and Data teams to research high-impact opportunities, formulate strategies, and test hypotheses.
This opportunity is well-suited for a designer who thrives in ambiguity without relying on a rigid playbook, loves building functional prototypes using modern AI tools, and enjoys maintaining accountability through the post-launch phase. Because Vercel operates as a flexible workplace, you can work remotely or, if you reside within a designated commuting radius of company offices in San Francisco, New York, London, or Berlin, you may utilize office anchor days on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end self-serve experience covering onboarding, activation, adoption, monetization, and retention for humans and agents
- Identify high-impact opportunities via customer research, product metrics, and hands-on usage of Vercel
- Collaborate with Growth Product, Engineering, and Data partners to co-own growth strategy, priorities, hypotheses, and success metrics
- Construct and evaluate working prototypes utilizing Figma, v0, Cursor, and Claude Code
- Design and deploy experiments while staying engaged through implementation and result interpretation
- Convert successful experiments into durable product enhancements, reusable patterns, and refined internal tools
- Share operational learnings across design and growth functions
Requirements
- Portfolio displaying strong product design fundamentals and measurable outcomes from shipped products
- Demonstrated experience owning ambiguous and complex work from initial problem framing to launch and iteration
- Ability to independently build interactive prototypes utilizing modern AI tools and work near code
- Commitment to designing clear, accessible, and trustworthy user experiences across diverse skill levels
Qualifications
- Prior experience shipping artificial intelligence or agent experiences
- Background in engineering or practical experience contributing production web code
- Experience designing developer tools, infrastructure, or technical products

The base pay range for the San Francisco, California location is $172,000 to $258,000. Compensation outside of San Francisco is adjusted based on the employee location, and total compensation may also include equity and variable pay.
